It is important to periodically remind members that their savings are insured by the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF). One excellent way to do this is to insert NAFCU’s “Your Federal Share Insurance” brochure into member statements. This insert provides important information about share insurance and how members can structure accounts with their spouse and other family members to maximize the federal insurance.
