NAFCU to testify on business capital

Oct. 13, 2009 – Mark Sekula, senior vice president of business services at Randolph-Brooks FCU in Live Oak, Texas, will testify on behalf of NAFCU before the House Small Business Committee Wednesday on increasing capital for small businesses.

The committee, chaired by Rep. Nydia Velázquez, D-N.Y., will soon take up a series of bills approved last week in subcommittee to enhance small business financing and disaster relief funding.

Randolph-Brooks FCU received the Small Business Administration’s Credit Union Lender of the Year award this June. A notice and witness list for Wednesday’s hearing will be posted shortly.
